| Job Description: |
- Suggest and implement database designs in accordance to business needs.
- Knowledge of no-SQL databases such as mongo dB , Cassandra and elastic search
- Knowledge of different database design patterns such as Sharding , Archiving and Partitioning
- Optimize and tune DB instances according to varying application load
- Knowledge of different replication strategies in order to support OLTP and OLAP workloads.
- Database migration across different databases with minimum downtime.
- Sound knowledge of different operating system platforms.
- Expert in at least one of the scripting languages bash, shell, Perl and python
- Maintaining different environments and syncing schema changes as per template.
- Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy and integrity
- Hands on with data warehousing tools such as greenplum, AWS Redshift, AWS Athena and AWS Glue.
- Hand-on experience on Azure databases, Knowledge of DTUs, Amazon RDS, Aurora and Big Data
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences
- 4+ years of experience in relevant field
