| Job Description: |
- Search for prospective suppliers/manufacturer and execute quarterly procurement plans and establish works priorities, and ensure deadlines are met.
- Maintains, carries out, and is responsible for the procurement of local as well as imports items.
- Obtain and analyze quotations and negotiate total cost elements for assigned portfolio.
- Preparation of price comparative statement and monitoring the allocated budget.
- Conducting Market Survey as and when needed and Maintain Quality Assurance of vendor list.
- Supporting the projects in procurement related matters and assessing the market fluctuation and act accordingly.
- Keeps database of suppliers and conducts regular search for alternatives.
- Post-tender work: Participation in Tender Opening Meetings, preparation of tender opening statements, evaluation reports (comparing cost and quality offered by each bidder in the tender), presenting the technical & commercial evaluation reports to the competent forum.
- Processing of requisitions on SHF software and negotiations with the approved bidder(s), in the light of directions by the approving authority, about the rate and other terms & conditions of the contract).
- Preparation of purchase agreement /service agreement /contracts and Co-ordinate with various sections and third parties for on-time delivery and Advises suppliers of defective goods delivered and arrange necessary follow-ups.
- Monitor vendors’ performance (quality, delivery times, etc.) and communicate results internally and externally as necessary. Check invoices to ensure the correct price and follow through to ensure that materials ordered have been received.
- Responsible for the purchase of goods and services including suppliers’ transactions, item definition and quantities, delivery, and payment follow-up.
- Checks invoices, delivery receipts and other papers and submit them for payment along with necessary internal documentation of software.
- Maintain procurement records such as items or services purchased costs, product quality or performance, compiling data on these for future purchase.
