We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Executive to join our freight forwarding company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling day-to-day financial operations including preparing vendor payments, posting customer receipts, managing sales tax returns, managing administration tasks and ensuring timely and accurate withholding tax compliance. This role plays a vital part in maintaining financial accuracy and supporting tax and audit requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process vendor and supplier payments in accordance with company policies and payment schedules.
• Post customer receipts and maintain accurate accounts receivable records.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure proper documentation of financial transactions.
• Manage monthly and quarterly sales tax return filings, ensuring compliance with local tax laws.
• Calculate, deduct, and deposit withholding tax as per regulatory requirements.
• Maintain records of all tax-related transactions and prepare supporting documents for tax audits.
• Support internal and external audits by providing relevant financial data and explanations.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to resolve payment and receipt issues.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and documentation as needed.
• Scan and digitize financial documents such as receipts, payment vouchers and organize & index it for quick retrieval.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a finance or accounts role, preferably in the logistics or freight forwarding industry.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations, especially sales tax and withholding tax.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• High attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
