Job Description:

The REAQA Manager will play a critical role in driving the organization's mission by ensuring the highest standards of research, evaluation, assessment, and quality assurance across all education and training programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that measure program impact, enhance educational quality, and inform decision-making processes. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of educational research methodologies, and a passion for improving educational outcomes in underserved communities. The successful candidate should also demonstrate excellent training, mentoring, reporting, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Research and Evaluation:

  •  Design and implement research studies to assess the effectiveness of READ Foundation’s education and training programs.
  •  Develop evaluation frameworks and tools to monitor and measure the impact and  outcomes of education and training programs as well as the student learning outcomes.
  •  Analyze data and produce comprehensive reports to inform program development and improvement.
  • Collaborate with external researchers and institutions to conduct relevant studies.

2. Assessment:

  • Develop and oversee the implementation of student assessment tools and methodologies.
  •  Ensure alignment of assessments with educational standards and program goals.
  • Analyze assessment data to identify trends, strengths, and areas for improvement.
  •  Provide training and support to trainers, education managers, and educators on  assessment best practices.

3. Quality Assurance:

  •  Develop and implement quality assurance frameworks to ensure consistency and excellence in the delivery of all education and training programs as well as material  development activities.
  •  Conduct regular audits and reviews of all education and training programs, including their associated material development components, to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  •  Identify gaps in program delivery and recommend actionable improvements.
  • Work closely with the material development and professional development teams to implement quality enhancement initiatives.

4. Data Management and Reporting:

  • Establish and maintain data management systems for tracking program performance.
  •  Generate regular reports and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.
  •  Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of data used for decision-making.

5. Capacity Building:

  • Provide training and professional development for staff on research, evaluation, and quality assurance practices.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement through knowledge sharing and collaboration.

6. Stakeholder Engagement:

  •  Engage with stakeholders, including donors, partners, and the community, to  communicate program impact and outcomes.
  •  Prepare and present findings to senior leadership, board members, and other key stakeholders.
  •  Collaborate with program teams to incorporate stakeholder feedback into program design and delivery.

Note: Ability to travel as required. (Note: This job requires 60 – 70% field travel)
